official music video for the malking jewel by the mars volta made by video artist jos diegel in march 2012. the single is the first from the new album of the band, the so called album noctourniquet. this is the official participation video art work answered to the bands video contest. the filmmaterial was shot in 2005 within a installation art work.

the video portrays in humourus way the representation of film and plays with the road movies stylisch and cool character that is crossed by the absurd situations that are created by the artist and the other protagonistss. the video opens a whole playful perpective on the filmmaking process.
